I always find Europa or UEFA League more interesting bc of the teams and players that I rarely heard of and teams tend to play a more open style than those in CL.

Dev, I cant even remember when was the last time I watched a whole Milan Match.

I myself like Europa League the best because teams play in a more relaxed manner and you can see movements and goeals which it is harder to be seen in other competitions.

the money should be shared more balanced between CL and Europa League Uefa Cup. The difference is just ridiculous.

Unless its like 2/3 of the Semi-Finalists get a place in CL then its useless. I know that without it then many teams wouldnt have much motivation to improve. If they know that theyre comfortable midtable then they know they dont have a chance of top 4 or 3 so they can just relax.

Still, whats the big difference between UEFA Cup and Europa League? Wasnt there suppose to be a change.

Arent those the champions league draws? Judging by the colour and art style. Also I thought Uefa twittered something like that with the caption UCL.

Also you guys forgot to mention that Intertoto Cup is abolished and teams that were supposed to play in Intertoto Cup will now play at UEFA Europa League.

Anyway, personally I think that this new competition and UEFA Cup are pointless. It would be better to restore Cup Winners Cup and keep Champions League.

I actually enjoy Europa League much more than Champions League this year. The teams are more balanced, the results are often unpredictable, and it is generally more fun. Particularly if you watch a simulcast during the games, you watch teams that you would never watch otherwise.

Inter Baku - out
Simurq - almost out
Karabakh - will most likely play Rosenborg and will be out

No hope for Azeri teams in Europa League

I think a European trophy added to our collection, even if it is the Europa League would be nice tbh. We have the second most 3 joint with Juve and Liverpool, so winning and one uping Juve would be pretty sweet, as it is doing it anywhere.

If Juve drop down to Europa league itd be interesting to see an all Italian final. Itd definitely help with our coefficient points.

Im really confused about this. Will Inter being playing in next seasons Europa league for finishing at 6th position or not?

I think it was the top 4 positions get the Champions league and 5th and 6th get the Europa league.
I mean it would be better than not getting any European football and it will be some kind of revenue for the club too. Although I think Juve benefitted from playing fewer games this season. But it would suck for Inter not getting any European football.

Swansea made a fantastic start. Their first Europa game and won 3-0 away to Valencia and with 65 possession. Thats a fantastic achievement that too for a PL club against La Liga club.
